This addon tracks all websites and ads people are looking at for the sole purpose of creating and selling user behavior statistics. It is maintained by a company whose product is exactly that, tracking user behavior.
It has 50000 lines of code simply to recognize ads on websites - as if they would put that much effort in, simply to show a little ad counter number under the website name, a number that is dubiously relevant to the advertised purpose of this addon anyway. They only track ads because that's data they can sell.
It also slows down the browser tremendously, showing how much tracking stuff they do in the background.

- A great tool to control your time on different sites, but with a few problems with the informational page where you can see stats and all. It opens automatically when I open a new tab, but it takes a long time to load, same when I go to the dashboard.

- it's interesting, but it keeps blocking essential sites (like gmail), despite how many times i remove that from the social networking category on mobile (which is ofc sync'd).

- I struggled so long with digital addiction, doom scrolling for hours, wasting my life. I tried a lot of different apps and ways to control my issues, but none of them stuck for long. This app is the first one that I have kept and has truly helped me break by bad habits. I have recommended it to friends and family struggling with the same modern age drug that is digital media, and I will recommend it to anyone reading this as well!
