I'm not even kidding, I made a Firefox account just to review this. Never have I enjoyed a Firefox extension so much. First off, for nostalgic purposes, if you grew up watching Youtube as a kid from 2010 to 2013 like I did you should feel right at home. It's nearly an exact copy and actually implements some of the better modern features too. I have been DREAMING of an extension that converts modern Youtube from the crappy pre-2017 redesign to the original. And it's fantastic. Most importantly, PERFORMANCE IS INCREDIBLE. I have no idea how they did it. Performance shot up by at least 50% on my gaming PC, and around 30 to 40% on my old Macbook Pro. It's actually usable on older machines now. No need for Invidious which is hit or miss. The website is snappy now.


We need more extensions like these for major websites. It is incredible. I miss how fast the old web used to be.

If you are looking for a drastic speed increase for Youtube and an (arguably) better layout with some nostalgia, install this. Now. It's amazing. Devs, never stop working on this. You guys are awesome.

Absolutely goated add-on. I thought it was nigh impossible, or at least extremely tedious, to do this (and perhaps it was lol).

YouTube's massive redesign in 2017 was severely disappointing and I've been dying to find a functioning add-on for Mozilla that reverts YT back to any of its former UIs.

More than three large thumbnails fit on the homepage at a time, lack of shorts, generally more functional, etc!

This is an absolutely amazing extension/add-on without it I would find navigating YouTube a nightmare! It has a few bugs here and there but it's definitely worth it and it always gets updated!

unfortunately, this extension makes youtube run VERY slow and it often breaks; ive tried asking for help on the discord server, but i got no response... the userscript version doesnt work any better
also, the extension doesnt work with dearrow and it doesnt work well with sponsorblock

Very nice features, lightweight.
Completely customisable from headers and font, to returning dislikes.
Gamelogging has been discontinued tho.

Pretty nice extension, it was working really nice until it just randomly would pop up the " error has occurred" page whenever you click on a video. Please fix this.

you need to remove public subscribers and show total sub count on channels and add new layouts including 2013 and 2007 layouts

Faster than both Rehike and Polymer, very functional, brings back lots of features that are gone from current YouTube, while having the ability to use a few modern features like Community posts.
There's a few minor gripes I have, like how some caption formats don't display properly and how theres no end screens, although those would probably be hard to implement so it's no big deal.
Some of the links are broken which is a bit of a bother but its not dealbreaking, and I legitimately like browsing on V3 more than I like browsing on the actual YouTube layout. Would recommend to anyone who's feeling nostalgic, hates modern YouTube, or finds the current layout slow.
