This addon compares a password that you enter in any password or security answer field against a list of 500000(!) common passwords from a publicly available list, and displays a notification warning if the password you entered is present in the list.

This Common Passwords list is bundled within the addon so that it can work entirely offline.

THIS EXTENSION WORKS ENTIRELY OFFLINE and does NOT make any network call/request to any server.

The "common Passwords list" is obtained from the Github Repo : https://github.com/berzerk0/Probable-Wordlists and it was NOT generated/collected by the developer of this extension. This addon simply "reuses" a publicly available list in the repository above.
