Sounds serious. Could you please either click support site or email and give me more information like your Firefox version, OS, steps to reproduce the issue(s), etc.
As for the second issue, make sure you have "Open previous windows and tabs" on in Firefox settings. If you need to clarify this issue with more information, please do as well.
