That was indeed due to a bug - I forgot the disable the css responsible for blocking recommendations when navigating to a different page, so once you loaded a video page or the start page, all similar elements on other pages would also be blocked until you manually reloaded the page.
With version 1.0.3, that should be fixed now though, so things like the subscription feed or channel pages are accessible again.
