I've used zim-clip before and enjoyed it. On fedora workstation 38, am finding copying the plugin and attempting to load it gives an error saying there was difficulty loading the plugin. Mind you this is not as widely used of an OS as ubuntu or windows or mac, so this may not be a widespread issue.

One of the two things in Zim I felt was missing to make a perfect notetaker. It works as advertised, even importing table as a table.
No need to alter #!/usr/bin/python line, as in most distros this already is a link to the most recent python installation.
The \n excape code in add-on configuration should be replaced by the actual Enter key press.
The ~/.local/share/zim/plugins/ must be created, if missing, and the zim plugin must be copied *along with its containing ../zimclip/ directory*, so you get this: ~/.local/share/zim/plugins/zimclip/{files}
Tried on Mageia8, KDE Plasma 5.20

Would definitely love to give it a spin if the documentation were not in French.

1. open file: ~/.local/share/zim/plugins/zimclip/zimclip.py
2. change: #!/usr/bin/python -> #!/usr/bin/python3
3. restart zim...
