I placed a couple of orders on other sites (I think they use the Shopify platform) and the shop owner knew my FB profile (I don't use my real name). I don't ever link FB with anything and I even use a different email addr for my FB account. I don't know how my info is being 'shared'. Would this add-on stop this from happening? I'm already using a FB Disconnect add-on and it hasn't stopped it.

თარიღი 9 წლის წინNo, this addon will not directly affect anything outside of FB. It is primarily designed to prevent FB from knowing what links and videos you interact with in your feed.

Edit: (april 5th 2026) It seems Facebook has changed some code so the addon has become useless. I only wanted to hide the posts marked with "Follow", but not hide the entire events page for instance.

It's craazy more than 50% of my feeds posts are blocked content. and it's all trash. It also doesn't interact with other extensions in my browser so I can use them together.

თარიღი წლის წინUnfortunately this is a known issue that only affects the combined group feed. Group pages should still work as expected.
