    • Changed the API to search for the ID to use newer V3 endpoint.
    • Added new option to use the API separately from enabling the DDD link. The main setting now will only use the DDD ID collected from WikiData.
    • The new DDD API setting is enabled by default for existing users who have entered an API key already, but is disabled for everyone else.
    • The API key is now mandatory for the DDD API as it seems that the API call will no longer work without the key. The extension will not send any calls to the DDD API if the setting is enabled but no key is entered. This will prevent the error popup from appearing frequently if the setting is enabled.

    • Replaced Jikan (third-party API for MyAnimeList) with new alternate API: Tenrai. This is due to Jikan shutting down on Oct 1 2026, and recent stability issues. There is no change in functionality in the extension.
    • A new host permission for Tenrai is required for the MyAnimeList rating setting, but the permission is now optional.
    • The Jikan host permission has been removed.
    • Replaced ranking list URL for BFI Sight and Sound due to old list no longer being available.
    • Improved the "error message/badge" (this was first added in v3.19.0 and visually indicates errors such as missing permissions, displayed floating in the top right of the Letterboxd page). This includes preventing duplicate messages, a direct link to the extension settings, and a fix for an issue requiring two clicks to open on first page load.
    • Added new data collection permissions key to the manifest, with no mandatory or optional data collection.
    • Increased the strict minimum browser version to 115 for desktop.

    • Added new top rankings for IMDb, AFI 100 year 100 movies, and Roger Ebert's Great Movies.
    • Changed BFI and TSPDT rankings to use local data, meaning permissions are no longer required. The settings for these will be enabled for all existing users when the extension updates.
    • Added new functionality for custom ranking lists.
    • Added option for Wikipedia link to prefer English Wikipedia over your browser language.
    • Added new ways to interact with the ratings reorder setting. Now there are clickable arrows, and keyboard navigation (tab and arrow keys). I believe this should be better for accessibility.

    Fixes and Changes
    • Fixed 'Replace fans' setting which broke with recent Letterboxd changes.
    • Fixed issue with additional IMDb, TMDB, and Wikipedia links on people pages not respecting 'open in same tab' setting.
    • Fixed an issue that caused the histogram bars to not get updated when 'convert to 10-point scale' is set, caused by a movie having only a single rating for any of the scores.
    • Updated Filmarks to use new API endpoint (the API itself is the same). This requires a new permission, the old permission has been removed.
    • Added a new visible error message functionality which displays a floating error badge in the top right corner, which displays the relevant message when clicked. Currently used when a permission is not granted when a setting is enabled (like the new Filmarks permission).
    • Updated the settings window to have a page title and favicon.
    • Tweaked formatting and padding of the Rotten Tomatoes toggle buttons, which had inconsistent rendering between Firefox and Chrome
    • Fixed Rotten Tomatoes Top Critic tooltip displaying 'undefined/10' due to lack of rating.

    - Updated SensCritique logo and design to match the site's new (Nov 2025) design. This includes the new green colour when the rating is 6.5 or more.
    - Updated WikiData call to now collect the Filmarks and "Does the Dog Die?" IDs to allow for better matching for those two sites. The existing search calls (which can be less accurate) have been left as a backup if WikiData does not have the IDs. The properties on WikiData are fairly new
    - Added new Criterion spine number

    - Added new option to display ratings Douban, requiring an API key

    Fixes and Changes
    - Fixed the unusually large text in the info box on people pages.
    - Fixed Rotten tomato tooltips which did not have the slash for the rating suffix. (the rating would be listed as "7.0010" and "3.85" instead of "7.00/10" and "3.8/5")
    - Mobile: Fixed placement of people info boxes. This also fixes an issue where the info box would not be displayed if not logged into Letterboxd.
    - Fixed issue with 'They Shoot Pictures, Don't They?' rank not appearing.

    • Firefox now uses sync storage instead of local, allowing for settings to be stored with your Firefox account if enabled. Existing settings will be converted on update. (FYI FF android does not sync with your account. This is a FF limitation, not he add-on)
    • Adjustments to WikiData date query which should allow it to always respond, as it was not working in all scenarios.
    • Adjusted the WikiData calls to be able to lookup using the Letterboxd, IMDb, and TMDB IDs all at once. While I did not find a scenario where just one was not finding a match, this should theoretically allow for improved matching.
    • Fixed issue with Metacritic critic scores actually pulling one critic's rating when no average is available yet.
    • Fixed issue with Metacritic tooltip when rating is tbd.
