I only noticed when I tried to change settings and was asked to login and pay. Not cool. Felt like a bait-and-switch.

I would have appreciated an option for a lifetime purchase, or even a "freemium" tier with less features. It's also scummy to have to sign in using apple, google, or facebook. Subscriptions I get the reasoning for, but you want my data too? Nope! I'm outta here.
It's really a shame, since the extension is really good. I want to make it clear that the specific thing I am criticizing is the rollout and lack of transparency + compromise for the paid model, not the paid extension itself.შემმუშავებლის პასუხი

Sign-in is required to manage account and subscription access, not to sell user data. The subscription exists because maintaining the extension is ongoing work: browser changes, compatibility fixes, support, and continued development.

If it is not working during the trial or after subscribing, that is not expected.
