In my case I often download videos of Afro-Cuban drumming- bata, rumba, etc.- mostly for study purposes... YouTube is increasingly becoming an archive or library of world music; this Add-on definitely helps musicians and music lovers access that trove. Many Thanks to the folks who developed (and maintain) Easy YouTube Video Downloader, and also of course to the musicians all over the world who create and willingly share their music!

Special note to Ubuntu users, 22.04 and 24.04: Ubuntu has left out a necessary library file called FUSE. The fix is here: search "Can't Run AppImage on Ubuntu?" and select the article from It's FOSS.
