I've had zero issues with using this extension so far (USA user). Happy to find something simple, easy to use, and unobtrusive. Thank you to the dev for making this QoL tool free for use.

Since I live in a small country, what I need is the reverse - I do NOT want to be limited to my own or nearby countries. I want the worldwide searches! eBay used to be great but now (2024/5) they prevent me from searching worldwide and force only US or Europe searches (or my own, little country). Extremely frustrating. The world is large - US and Europe together don't even cover the majority of eBay's potential customers.

Simply brilliant 'correction' to ebay.
So easy to use and provided great flexibility that ebay don't want to provide to us ebay users/victims :-).

This should have been done by eBay, thank you for fixing this irritation.

Seems to work well. It's nice not having crap from China pop up every time you do a search.

Love this addon. Tired of Chinese sellers pretending to be U.S. sellers, then waiting MONTHS to receive purchased item IF it even arrives in one piece...

I would really love to use this add-on, since eBay has been ignoring user requests for this option for years. However, requiring the "Access your data for all websites" permission, which gives the add-on access to your usernames and passwords is a dealbreaker.

Reply to developer response: Thanks for the github link, but like most people, I am not able to read programming code, so it doesn't really help me. Even if I were able to verify what you say is true, it makes no sense to give any add-on that kind of access (except a password manager) - what if someone found a way to exploit it? It seems to me permissions should be configured in such a way that a plugin can check to see whether you're on a certain site without needing access to all your usernames and passwords for every single site you log in to.

Works great, and provides a much-requested feature Ebay has been ignoring for years. Would be even better if could choose country/region, rather than it being auto-detected (?)
