Playback Speed and Volume Control by hovering over the player are broken. I guess Youtube has locked some control of things behind updates, but I hope these get resolved

By far the best and most useful of all Youtube extensions.
However, sometimes, for apparently no reason, the extension does not load on some videos. I takes 3 or 4 refreshes for them to load correctly again...

It's just very buggy lately, many times not changing anything on youtube anymore

Most of the functions work. Screenshot function is producing broken images.

It's a must have when it works but the extra features that make it a god send (beyond avoiding the new interface) are functionally dead, and I'm not the first to complain.

A must have extension, unless you chat in livestreams, in which case it forces the chat position under the video, makes no sense, has been broken since most recent update

Inconsistent. Control bar within player failing to load everytime. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

It suddenly lost relevance. Sure, most options are still there, but the one that really used to make YT feel different is gone, the ad-blocker. There are much lighter extensions out there that can do that specific task. Let's hope the feature will be back, soon...

I really appreciated when you updated this a while ago. Sadly it is breaking playback especially on watch later playlist. Video playback just constantly freezes all the time. If I disable this add-on it works. Also no matter how I resize screen I get giant thumbnails, like 3 across instead of 5 or 4 depending on how I scale screen. I can't really stand watching YT without this add-on, without the mouse wheel volume, volume boost button, etc.. I sure hope it can be fixed, I pay for YT premium and donated to you for this add-on. Even if you just made volume boost button and mouse wheel volume control and that's it, I would still use it and be happy.

It says "You need an updated version of Firefox for this extension" on Firefox ESR v115.9.1

Can you add a setting that will automatically enable miniplayer when you search for a new video while already watching a video. This is so the current video will not be closed when searching for a new video.

As of 11/4/24 I've noticed that video does not fit to the standard video window, so I have to fullscreen the video to see the settings cog in the bottom right of the video player. Disabling this extension solves the issue, but a fix for this would be appreciated, and would bump my rating to 5* !!!

It appears addon is missing a "list view" option to list videos on YouTube channels under each other instead of the ugly YouTube-Polymer forced "roster" view. - udpated

Great enhancement suite for youtube, but please keep the users for Firefox forks in mind and make it so it can be used in FF ESR based forks for longer :)

Good addon. The reason I rated it 3 stars is because of the following issues:

1. When watching YouTube Shorts on desktop, in Waterfox, I can't like shorts - of course if I use a custom theme that you guys offer. The issue was experienced in a previous Waterfox version.

2. Apparently, Waterfox tells me your extension isn't compatible with their latest version (115.10.00). This issue is Waterfox specific and it NEEDS to be fixed.

I will rate this extension five stars one these issues will be fixed. Thank you in advance.

Great to have it back but unfortunately this still breaks whenever you open a video in a new tab.

Since the last few months this addon has been very unstable. When it works, it's a great addon with a lot of great QoL features, however due to Youtube constantly updating their codebase this addon keeps breaking.

i used it until 2 months ago. now i can not use it unless i buy windows 10 or high computer.
i will change rating to a 5 star when i can use on win 8.1 computer

Youtube has changed the design. Now this extension does not work. It is sad.

A must-have extension IF it worked consistently. Right now it works like 60% of the times I click on a video which defeats the purpose of having it installed. Very unfortunate.

While the extra control functions are nice, it has caused the videos to freeze up constantly. As a result, I have had to stop using it.
