It's given me back my life.

Before Leechblock I would get up, have coffee, and keep going on Facebook, Reddit, Digg, Quora; arguing politics and talking about whatever. I'd try to work, but I'd keep coming up with excuses to distract myself "for just a minute" with these websites. Then I'd go to bed at three in the morning and wonder why I just couldn't seem to get to work.

I told myself I could quit any time I liked. You know, like any other addict. I told myself that for fifteen years.

Within four weeks using Leechblock to get off the social media dopamine drip, I'm actually working, getting things done, and feeling good for a change. I can focus!

Definitely helps make me more productive. Blocked a bunch of social sites (and Netflix) during work hours. Great extension. Gotta get back to work now!

One of the best addons I have ever used--probably would miss this as much, if not more than an adblocker. It's very effective at blocking distracting sites and the impact on my daily life has been significant.

As far as impact on the browser, LeechBlock itself uses very little RAM and CPU as an addon and it works very quickly (no delay in intercepting) in blocking websites. I also like that it just sits there in its little corner in my browser--no random alerts asking you to download another addon/write a review, ads, etc. like some addons.

The choice of features are excellent--being able to use wildcards to block the distracting pages of a website and allowing the productive parts is genius. The override and delaying feature is pretty smart too. I've used a good mix of all these features in the last few months that I've been using the addon. My favorite one is probably the "immediately block when conditions are met" since it just forces me to get off of social media and other distracting websites unlike other blockers that only block new instances of a website.

Overall, this is a very useful and very interesting productivity tool. It's unreal to see an addon of this quality being produced for free and I'm glad that it has all the features and customization that it has. It's definitely achieved its goal as a productivity tool and has easily cut my time on distracting sites.

highly customizable and can do all of the functionality I need! Saves me a ton of time, and the wait one minute to enable a site is very useful if I actually need to go to a distracting site for a legitimate reason.

Fantastic addition to Firefox. Really easy to setup and use, with a good deal of control over settings. Highly recommend this to those who find their selves mindlessly scrolling on Social Media.

For those, like myself, who are security conscious it's great to know that all information collected is stored locally and not shared to external sites.

I tried a few website blockers and I found them hard to use with complicated interfaces, but this one is clean and simple and easy to use.

straight forward and easy to use. having the extra blockade against the 'dopamine factory' websites helps me think twice about wasting time while working from home.
