This is a nice idea, but it is not a robust implementation. It simply doesn't work for most of the Reddit URLs I tried. It appears to use fragile regular expressions to match the URL and so does not work for e.g. a permalink to a single comment ("This is not an Reddit post"). It also frequently does work on posts (stuck on "Loading" for no apparent reason). Finally, it has no support for old.reddit.com.
