Passphrase Generator creates secure, human-friendly passphrases from real words. Choose a min/max length range, then click Generate (or press Enter). If a text field is focused, it auto-inserts and copies. Type a phrase to generate an acronym-based passphrase (until the popup closes).

Feature / usage details (you can paste after the first paragraph)

Generate button / Enter key: Generates a passphrase in the popup.

Focused-field behavior: If your cursor is in a text box when you click the toolbar icon, it generates and inserts into that field, then re-focuses it. (Also copies to clipboard in that case.)

Clipboard behavior: When using the popup, the last generated passphrase is copied when the popup closes.

Real-word passphrases: Uses the EFF Large Wordlist (filtered to 3–10 letter, letter-only words).

Separator rules: One separator type per passphrase, randomly chosen from - . # ?, placed between every word.

Number rules: Optional number (2–3 digits, no 0/1), placed at the beginning or end to help hit length targets.

Length range slider: Dual-slider range sets the target min/max length (includes words, separators, and numbers).

Acronym mode: Type text into the field (“Type here to make an Acronym”). While the popup stays open, Generate will keep producing passphrases whose words start with the requested letters. Type a new acronym to replace it.
