I need it mostly for one website. When trying to enable it I get the same error: "Network error..." Firefox and add-on are updated, 115.26.0es and 1.2.9 respectively. Not using any other proxy or VPN. Hope it can be solved.

A pity because I have the standalone program and the android app and love them both, but sometimes I just want to use a VPN for a couple of websites rather than for all my internet traffic.

I routinely keep about:addons open so I can turn the extension off and on again. When I click the extension icon in the toolbar in this state, it just shows me a loading spinner. Besides this hiccup, the extension works great. (I am a subscriber.)

Additionally, the login process requires accessing the proton.me domain, which is not feasible in China. I have to use other tools to bypass the Great Firewall just to log in to ProtonVPN, which is quite absurd.
