This ID serves strictly as a "key" that allows you to Pull or Push your start page setup to your other owned computing devices.

Host / External Requests: The plugin makes limited external requests strictly triggered by your actions, such as fetching site favicons (logos for your shortcuts) and securely routing your queries when you use the built-in search bar.
