Allows utilization of other addons on the Twitch interface like uBlock! To hell with ads! Thank you for this addon!

I like this extension, it is good and lightweight too! I would use this extension more if it worked with the raid, but otherwise it works great!

generally very good add-on that takes away a lot of the bulk of the twitch website and makes it run smoother.

only two caveats though, my main being that you cannot use firefox's picture-in-picture function with it at all. I'm someone who very often, pops out the windows of twitch streams while doing other things, and the inability to do it with this add-on is surprising and kind of baffling to me, as i thought this would've been a somewhat high-priority function that people use a lot. the second is that you chat display settings between light mode and dark mode are not saved when you close it or go between normal twitch and the alternate player. other than that, its very good.

Please add volume boost functionality. No volume boost extension works on the extension player page.

The extension works great I even noticed that my laptop runs cooler and more quite when watching a stream. Great job!

Addon simply doesn't work in any capacity. I removed Ublock and Ghostery nothing I do will make the player function. With it set to auto it never opens and when I left click nothing occurs. Tried it on chrome and works perfectly so it's not user error.

Works fine, but for some stupid reason you can't have your followed channels list visible anywhere, you have to go to the menu for that.

I hate having to keep switching from light to dark mode. And recently been having problems with chat straight up freezing. Doesn't show 7TV emotes and quality drops when there are ads. Blocks all ads though very well

A true livesaver! I tried various Extensions to block ads, some of them use crazy techniques like proxying all requests and stuff like that, but still don't work as good as this Extension.
I've been using this Alternate Player for weeks, not a single Ad made it through. If a Ad is played, the video quality just drops for the duration of it, the sound stays, so you won't miss anything.
Also the player loads much faster than the default purple player, also a very nice feature.

Thank you for this great Extension, it really made twitch bearable again for me!

since over 3 months chat theme keeps resetting back to light one, swithing light and dark themes in twitch browser setting doesn't solve the problem anymore

Very good extension, only gripe is that dark mode doesn't stay enabled when the viewer is reloaded other than that 4.5 out of 5!

Works to block ads when other solutions are broken. I just wish chat opened in dark mode by default! Really enjoy the customizable themes. Will update my review if any ads get through

It's a nice extension, but I get this momentary black flickers and cuts in audio. I know its blocking ads, but it doing that every 5 to 10 seconds or so.

EDIT:
I have found out that the DuckDuckGo & Decentraleyes extensions was causing is ext to flicker and cut up the audio. Everything is now fine. 👍

Please, make it possible to disable "c" hotkey for chat.

Work's fine for the most part, Channel points are no longer being collected for some reason anymore, was working great 2 weeks ago and then just stopped.

nvm, for some weird reason I just had to disable and then re-enable the extension and now it works again.
