recently a few relible and well know websites got red and orange colour for no reason. Tried to contact WOT but got two times same copy / pasted response.

Used to be a good sites reputation extension. Now filled with ads and "premium" feature. Too bad! It used to be good and simple!

URL check is paid. Tracker blocking is paid.

They aren't clear about paid features beforehand. Their main website mywot.com is horrible with details now.

I have been using for years. I like having the sites rating provided for me. All the additional features are unnecessary for me given that I use other extensions. Recently I found this application was blocking sites I had otherwise whitelisted. I don't know how to easily resolve so uninstalling was quickest solution.

Considering WOT has been caught many times hoarding our information and their govt being able to exercise control over it if they choose to, coupled with, false rating of some sites, such as some bad sites getting a green light and some good sites getting a red light... and I have reported both cases many months ago to WOT without them taking any action... and also considering that they're not endorsed by Mozilla, I don't trust this add-on and have uninstalled it from my FireFox.

This add-on is constantly trying to sell you the paid subscription, in a quite invasive way. Not useful for installing it to a non-IT-proficient person.
Additionally, there are not so many site reviews, and I don't find them very useful or trustworthy either.
After testing it for few days, I've decided to uninstall it.
