It blocked most ads, but it also caused Firefox to crash too often. Out of frustration I finally uninstalled and Firefox works fine now. I'll just live with the ads and ignore them. At least that way I can read the rest of the page.

Adblock Plus has helped Firefox run smoothly since it was installed by Microsoft on a maintenance call. I recently lost it and have reinstalled it on my computer.
