Начиная с версии 3.0 поменялось меню плагина (стал как на Chrome), плагин деградировал, начал тормозить, "визуальный" инструмент для настройки блокирования на самом деле текстовый, без возможности включить дополнительные настройки (тогда какой в нём смысл???).
По этому скачивайте из истории плагина версию "Adblock Plus 2.9.1", к нему скачивайте дополнение "Element Hiding Helper (for Adblock Plus by Felix Dahlke)". Thanks for your feedback! Can send us an example URL were you experience ads? "allow acceptable ads" is enabled by default, but this can disabled on the options page.
