every time i set up a block and go on the blocked website my virus scan program said threat detected even tho when i used to go on those websites it did nothing so this is great :)

Leechblock saved my exams! I love the scheduling possibilty, so I dont need to think too much about activating leechblock. I would love a little plugin where you could just say "keep me from distraction for 35 minutes". Nevertheless its a great add-on

It's the best website blocker I've come across. It's fairly easy to learn how it works; comes with useful features for specific types of blocking, and very helpful with taking back my time from wasteful sites.

I was looking into multiple firefox profiles for separate bookmarks (work vs personal/entertainment), but LeechBlock is much more simple and effective. The FAQ/examples are very helpful in setting custom time periods for the lockdowns as well.

Being able to limit my time on those wasteful websites like reddit or facebook has boosted my productivity to levels I would only have dreamed of. I do like the features like the override ability as well, as sometimes it is essential that I continue with my readings or the like.
