well worth the security , for the resource load...can be glitchy at times

PB is a great way to reduce tracking across the web. It uses heuristics to determine if a tracker is doing something it shouldn't, and blocks them accordingly. It does catch some trackers that add-ons with static lists sometimes miss.

easy and safe

Privacy Badger is in combination with pi-hole and HTTPS Everywhere the ideal privacy tool.
Now if the data could be synced with Firefox Sync it would get the much deserved 5 stars.
