sɣur wasi, vor einem JahrThe only one that runs reliably on Firefox for Andorid without breaking the site! Unlike other cookie banner blockers, it does not simply hide the annoying queries unanswered, but actively issues a predefined set of rejections. This approach has the advantage that all pages continue to behave as intended and that useful cookies (performance + functionality) continue to be used. It is a little slow the first time a page is called up, after that the cookie settings are automatically applied, which is why there is no longer a slowing banner to process.

- Yettwasezmel 1 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 19209014, vor 7 TagenSuddenly started charging a ridiculous rate for what was free. It is one thing to charge for your work - it is another thing entirely to suddenly switch to a paid model with zero transparency. The website for this extension doesn't mention anywhere that it is NOT FREE, nor does the extension page on the store. I will no longer be using this as a result

I don’t understand where all the hate to this app is coming from. If you’re not paying your subscription with money, you’re paying with your data… - Yettwasezmel 2 ɣef 5sɣur jesusjimsa, vor 8 TagenThe extension itself works fine, but they have started charging for it.
Initially, it was completely free on both iOS and desktop. After that, they started charging on iOS after three pop-ups were blocked, but said that desktop would remain free.
However, I've just received a message from the extension saying that they will also only allow three blocks per day on desktop.
Consent-O-Matic is completely free, works just as well (or even better) most of the time, and is open source.
The daily messages telling me to pay on iOS were annoying; I won't put up with them on desktop either. It was nice while it lasted, but I'm going to uninstall it.
If you're OK with paying, go for it — it's a fine extension. Otherwise, just install Consent-O-Matic. - Yettwasezmel 1 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 13897011, vor 8 TagenUsed to be free and decided to swap to subscription based. Does not advertise that it is sub based.
- Yettwasezmel 1 ɣef 5sɣur ssssaaaa, vor 8 TagenDoesn't work unless you pay. Consent-o-matic does the same as this plugin but works on more sites, is free and open-source.
- Yettwasezmel 1 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 19185659, vor 8 TagenThis USED to be a free plugin. Sadly, the developer has decided to chase money and remove all utility from the free version, with it only working "up to 3 times a day", otherwise asking for ~$10 per month. So, instead I will be uninstalling.
If you are reading this and haven't enabled automatic updates for plugins, then MAKE SURE TO DISABLE THEM!.

yeffeɣ-d deg vor 8 TagenHi, the extension costs 1$ a month. Not 10$. You can also downgrade if you don't want to pay the subscription. - Yettwasezmel 2 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 19413785, vor 9 TagenSadly, a case study as to why to not enable automatic updates. Clippy and Louis Rossmann would be sad. Created an account to review due to recent changes.
I will give the author credit where it is due, he seems to be updating the extension regularly. It's now on version 3.31 and as far as I can tell, the subscription wording was added back 3.29, and I've since downgraded to 3.28 and will leave it there until I find a replacement. I will also give the author credit for creating a popup to let me know as I hadn't realized it had stopped working. And I learned that downgrading an extension is a built in feature of Firefox.
The only other extension I know that charges is PushBullet, but their free option is quite more generous than '3 times a day.' I also rather look at it that something has changed for the developer as he now feels he needs funds and hope things turn out well for him. It's easier to think that, than something like he just got greedy. Or maybe it's better the other way around?
For what it claims, it seems to do what is says. Only had some issues with locally hosted sites, but the blacklist feature is useful enough for that.
Edit:
Updated to 2 stars due to friendly developer response. I cannot go farther than that because they change the extension after the fact. Would have no issue if it was like that from the start. It's unfortunate because I see where the developer is coming from (as a programmer myself) and I understand the thought process, but can't support the act. If you see this Francisco, I thank you for your offer, but I'll have to refuse on principle.Tiririt n ineflayen
yeffeɣ-d deg vor 8 TagenHi
Thanks for the fair and detailed review. Happy to offer you a year long license. I am also glad to know its possible to downgrade as I understand maybe not everyone will be willing to pay, and that way you have a solution. Unfortunately we are two people working almost full time here, and for this to be viable we need to charge a subscription. I don't think 1$ is greedy or unfair, but if people don't like it they can downgrade or stop using it.
Best regards
Francisco - Yettwasezmel 1 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 14559047, vor 9 TagenOh, thinking of making a funtune off "donations" then made very little, turns on the pay wall and blame others for not being nice.
How standard.

yeffeɣ-d deg vor 9 TagenHi, we show a pop up once every two weeks. It seems pretty fair for a free version. The free version also works 3 times a day (also seems pretty fair but open to hear your thoughts). This extension takes a lot of time to keep updated as sites are constantly changing their cookie banners. I would be happy to offer you a free year.
It makes no sense to give me a one star review simply because you don't want to pay. You can just stop using it.
