- Yettwasezmel 1 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 17755559, hace 18 díasIt could be so useful if only the metadata (url etc.) and the highlighted text were saved to obsidian. Instead, always the complete page is saved, including even videos. No need for this.

yeffeɣ-d deg hace 17 díasIt's easy to change the template to only save the content you want. Take a look at the documentation:
https://help.obsidian.md/web-clipper/templates - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Pyae Phyo Kyaw, hace 24 díasAn excellent add-on. Must have for every Obsidian user.

- Yettwasezmel 3 ɣef 5sɣur Davide, hace un mesDoes not work when Obsidian is installed via Flatpak on Ubuntu 22.04:
The address wasn’t understood
Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (obsidian) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context.
You might need to install other software to open this address.
EDIT: i think this is a "Obsidian in Flatpak" issue... registering the URI does not fix it; it creates an empty Obsidian document (also with a truncated name containing only the name....)Tiririt n ineflayen

https://help.obsidian.md/web-clipper/troubleshoot
1. Make sure that obsidian:// URIs are registered.
2. If you use Wayland, make sure that Obsidian has the permissions to read the clipboard when the app is not focused. - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Fabiano, hace un mesOne of the most amazing pieces of technology out there.

- Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 19676083, hace un mesHas become critical to my workflow for capturing things to read later. Saves a step since if I decide to keep the item in my vault I don't have to convert it into Obsidian, as compared to other read-it-later tools that add that step.

- Yettwasezmel 4 ɣef 5sɣur Jay, hace 4 mesesIt is so unfortunate that automatically capturing images locally is not supported by the official Obsidian plugin ! Being an ex-Evernote heavy user, I still miss their almost perfect web clipper. For those with the need to quickly capture full pages in md to Obsidian, MaoXian Web Clipper is an interesting alternative.

yeffeɣ-d deg hace 4 mesesObsidian Web Clipper does not save images, only text. To save images, use the Obsidian command/hotkey "Download attachments for current file". If you are running into any issues with this, please use report issues on the Obsidian forum. Thanks!
