We use adguard dns on our router to block ads on all our wifi devices. But that does not block youtube ads. All we need is youtube ad blocking and this add-in works great, with minimal overhead. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Youtube ads' length of time will load, but the extension will block the playtime, and after fast-loading/skipping through 2 ads, video starts.
