Lachit, an Assamese spell checker plugin designed for Mozilla Firefox, Thunderbird and SeaMonkey.

It is released under the banner of Bhaxa Xahitya Xonmiloni, Axom and under the GNU General Public License 3.0.

How To Use: Click "Add to Firefox". A confirmation window will appear. Click "Install now". Then the dictionary will automatically be installed. Restart FireFox. Then type Assamese text in text box or input box (such as mail compose, blogging, facebook status. comment etc). Right click on the text box and check the “Check spelling”. Then in the same window, select Language-> Assamese (India). Now it will underline the wrong spelled words. Enjoy...

N.B: This version of Lachit, the Assamese Spell Checker, contains only 130188 words. To make it larger, we are seeking some volunteers. We will list their name in our contributor list. Also we are thinking of working as a team for the development of different language tools. Please write some comments and reviews.
