Very quick and easy with no setup. It just works. However, I would like one enhancement. Currently, the container name used is the AWS account name PLUS the AWS role name. I always have just 1 role for each of my accounts so I would prefer for the container name to just be the AWS account name with no role. Can you add some configuration to allow us to customize the container naming scheme.

It's been 5 months but I just submitted a 1.1 update that includes a preferences page where you can set this! It may take a little time to get through the review process, but I hope you enjoy the update.

    I used to use a much more complicated solution. This add-on is great. It does open a new tab for new connections to AWS, but since it doesn't know which account I'm using at that point, that makes sense.

    Thought it broke logins with the most recent upgrade to AWS access portal IAM identity center (I think version two, but it is difficult to say).

    However, the problem was that with the upgrade a request was made to handle a new certificate, which was hidden.

    Explicitly opening into a container allowed for setup of the certificate, and now it works.

    This extension is so simple, but absolutely essential if you manage multiple AWS accounts.

    I used to end up using three or four different browsers on a single machine at once, now I can do it all in Firefox, I don't have to remember what browser is what account, and it just works.

    I absolutely love this add-on however I have noticed a slow response on my browser when using AWS. It could however be my browser. To the developer, I wish this add-on would become available to MS Edge. It really deserves to be shared on other browsers

    This extension leverages contextualIdentities, which is currently only supported by Firefox. If Edge supports this API, I'll happily port it over.
