A great add-on to people that go in various social media websites everyday (principally Twitter, and sometimes Reddit). Good for people who are sensible to cuss words, or simply don't like'em. There are some people that just don't want this type of bad, toxic words in their brain's subcounscious, y'know? I would like to contribute to this add-on, maybe help to create a bad-word filter, idk. It would be great.

I think it's great but I'd love to see version with dropdown menu to add words to filter.

Aber in bestimmten Situationen stört es die Lesbarkeit bestimmter Texte...
Beispielsweise in Wikipedia- oder Zeitungsartikeln, in denen der Begriff "Hexe" verwendet wird. Nicht als Beleidung oder Diffamierung sondern z.B. historisch (z.B. bei Hexenverbrennung) oder tatsächlich gerechtfertigt (z.B. bei Ilse Koch...). Also wenn sich das Tool z.B. bei Wikipedia ausschalten ließe, wäre meinem Leseempfinden ein Diest getan.

I will never understand how people are against an additional option. Mozilla does not censor the internet with that extension. It is just an option to make your surfing experience more healthy and less anti feminist. I really feel like some patriarchists feel attacked with that extension and does not want a change to happen in the world.
When you want your absolute "freedom" just dont install it.
For me personally it is a great step towards a better internet and the right step into a world where you can't hate people just because you are anonymus. Thats not freedom thats the art of beeing an asshole and leads to many serious problems like depressions, hate, polarisation and bubbles. Lets make the internet more personal and the people more responsible for what they are doing.

Why tf is Mozilla receiving so much hate for this?

It didn't quite have the effect I thought it would, but I sometimes get a chuckle out of seeing people call each other "boss".

L’intention est louable mais, malheureusement, ça ne change rien pour ces abrutis de misogynes. L’idéal serait de leur changer à eux l’affichage. Mais c’est impossible. Du coup, je préfère désactiver cette extension pour m’apercevoir quand quelqu’un mérite ou ne mérite pas mon attention.

Un module pas particulièrement utile, mais c'est rigolo de voir certaines personnes changer radicalement de ton. Et, clairement, ce module n'est PAS une atteinte à la liberté d'expression ou une censure bien pensante, puisque l'utilisateur peut désactiver ce module à tout moment, sans problème.
