sɣur Tommy, ien jier lynIt works very well. Here are a few suggestions :
- When we open a YT video using "Open in new tab" (back-end), we have to reload the webpage to see the "Summarize" button when we access the tab, which is annoying.
- It's not clear how to access preferences, for example to change language.
- That would be great to have an option to disable "Minutes saved"... because I think most people don't care about that. It would help to keep a clean and minimal user interface.
- The number of "Minutes saved" is not accurate, because it takes time to read the summary, and the number that is displayed is the duration of the video. For instance, for a 30-minute video, if it takes 2 minutes to read the summary, number of minutes saved is not 30 but 28. You could reduce the number based on how long is the summary (number of words) and the average reading speed.
- The summary is great, but it would be better if it was not always referring to "The text describes..." or "The author...". I understand that the summary is from the transcript, which is text, but that would be more accurate if there was a way to tell the AI that the source is a video, and not a text (i.e. the speaker instead of the author, or the video instead of the text).
IMO, the first and the last comments should be the most important to improve. Overall, a very good extension, very simple and accurate.

Podsumowanie filmu działa, natomiast w wersji gemini lite - inne są płatne. Gdyby wtyczka działała normalnie i nie obciążała by podzespołów to bym mógł ją zachować i dać chociaż 2 gwiazdki. Nie polecam.

yeffeɣ-d deg 5 moannen lynHi Sibna, we've never made use of your data for our benefit. Never sold it and never bombarded you with any ads. We chose the way to monetise our work by adding subscriptions. And free option is still available.
Why have we monetised? Because we ARE paying for servers and Google APIs. And you're paying for the service that enables you do everything quickly and smoothly. And it also takes many hours of work to create and develop this product, involving designers and other paid(!) help. No people's work should be free, just as everyone we want to get sallaries/income for the work and knowledge which is fair.

- Yettwasezmel 4 ɣef 5sɣur Keisev, 6 moannen lynThe extension works well. But they should specify what exactly the connection to your Google account is for, since without it the extension cannot function. There should also be an option to choose which transcript it will use as a base, since there are some videos with multisubs or automatic transcription.

- Yettwasezmel 4 ɣef 5sɣur Reggie, 7 moannen lynGreat extension that works as advertised! I like not having to leave the YouTube tab to save time or to generate a few focus questions to help me actively learn from content. (It also feels native and looks *so much* better than other extensions when paired with transparent themes / mods in the Zen browser.)
While I like the simplicity of short vs detailed and most Gemini models often work, I do wish was a way to select e.g. Gemini 2.5 Flash or newer models when existing offers don't quite hit the mark. Allowing the user to fetch new models without waiting for the developer to add them, or even a BYOM (bring your own model) option would be great. - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur angmang, 7 moannen lyn

- Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur MatilahSingapura, 8 moannen lynToo many YouTube creators just don't get to the effing point. They populate their vids with fatuous stock imagery or boring AI dreck. Audio tracks are often too wordy, meandering and probably written by some LLM. Clarify AI creates on-point summaries which save a lot of time, OUR time. I high recommend this extension.
