Classic YT Layout restores the traditional YouTube video player controls that were reorganized in YouTube's 2025/2026 player update.

WHAT CHANGED IN YOUTUBE'S NEW LAYOUT:
YouTube's new mobile-style player moved the volume control to the top-right corner, removed the play button from the bottom bar, and rearranged CC, settings, and fullscreen controls. This affects embedded YouTube videos on third-party sites such as Reddit.

WHAT THIS EXTENSION RESTORES:
• Bottom-left: Play/pause, volume control with slider, timestamp
• Bottom-right: Closed captions, settings, fullscreen
• Top-right: Share, Watch Later

SMART DETECTION:
The extension only activates when the new player layout is detected. If you are already receiving the classic YouTube layout, the extension does nothing and adds zero overhead.

LIGHTWEIGHT:
No background polling, no network requests, no data collection. Two narrow MutationObservers watch only what is necessary. The extension has no impact on page performance.

TOGGLE:
A simple on/off toggle in the extension popup lets you enable or disable the layout fix without uninstalling.

COMPATIBILITY:
Works on embedded YouTube players on any website, including Reddit and similar platforms.
