Dark Comfort Mode is a lightweight browser extension designed to improve visual ergonomics during web browsing.

The extension applies a consistent, low-glare dark color scheme to websites by injecting local CSS styles into the active page. This reduces eye strain in low-light environments while preserving page structure and usability.

In addition to visual theming, the extension provides a real-time display of the user’s local date, time, and ISO-8601 week number through the extension interface. All calculations are performed locally within the browser environment.

Dark Comfort Mode does not collect, transmit, or store personal data, browsing history, or user activity. The extension operates entirely offline and does not rely on external services or network communication.

The project is intended for users who prefer a minimal, privacy-respecting approach to dark mode functionality without tracking, analytics, or behavioral profiling.
