It works, I don't know why it doesn't for others

Currently, it works as advertised, i.e., it stops YouTube videos from autoplaying. Moreover, it does this better than all the other 4 add-ons I've used previously.

Edit : Spoke too soon, there is a setting for that !
But sadly, it doesn’t seem to work… It only makes backgroud tab bug.

It works just fine (latest browser, no problems with other extensions). The Only problem i see is that you sometimes have to click 2x to have it load and play. Another problem: In comparison to another browser, it loads the video about 4-5 Seconds, whereas the other Browser feels like it starts after 1-2 Seconds. But overall: it works so Videos don't start on their own. I don't know why YT did that BS and removed it, but that extension is definitely putting it back, despite a little bit of clunkiness.

Using Debian 12 (32 bit); it stopped audio playing when enabled; double checked; I don't know whether it had any effect on auto - play.

Used to work, not anymore. Actually still works on one computer, but not on another one in the same room, no matter what I try. Bizarre!

So fucking sick of addons who only have one job and don't fucking do it or even get close. This exists solely to block autoplay. DOESN'T FUCKING DO THAT.

The ONLY one that works for FF! Even after 5.5 years. You have have restart FF before it works about half the time.

Now, why can't anyone else come up with another version that works ALL the time like they have on Chrome?

Does nothing. No matter if it's on or off, videos will automatically play when the page loads and will not stop until you hit the pause button. How worthless.
