Seems to work fine, but the light colored icon is hardly noticeable on my light-grey firefox-design.. would be nice to have the option to switch between a light and dark icon i.e..

Thanks trying it out! The new version should now automatically swap between black and white depending on your theme. Alternatively there's now an options page under about:addons to manually set it.
