Correction of former statement: Since the last update it often is useful for downloading in 720p, if an higher resolution is available, that then can only be downloaded by plus-version. For many videos this is enough for me, especially, as there seem to be missing an alternative, since youtube changed its architecture. Sometimes only lower qualities can be downloaded.

That is not true! Nothing is downloaded, although I already paid twice.

Update: Now with 15.7 720p works, but 1080p never does.

This application no longer works correctly. It appears to download but it only shows 0k file.

If logged in at youtube, I can't download my own videos (only a 0 kB- file is downloaded then).
When logged out, it also works for my own videos.
Very strange, please fix this.
Update: I'm using v 15.7, but the problem still occurs. No data downloaded of my own videos, if I'm logged in!

Claims in the description that you can download in full 1080p HD when in fact its for premium users. I believe this is call the bait and switch. False advertising. Nice!

I am upping my original review of one star for this downloader. It still suffers from the way it seeks money. It implies it's a one time donation, but it will restrict functionality when the donations don't keep coming in. Still, nothing is for free, and I'm not going to whine about a few bucks now and then to get what I want. Do I wish they were more upfront and honest about how they make their money? Yep. But, does the downloader work the way I want it to with minimal expense. Yep
