After the update to version 10.8.1 on 12/24/2021 metamask just shows a blank box in Firefox. It does not allow me to expand it to a full page, no controls at all. Since that update it has become completely unusable.

Import process does not accept the phrase. Also seems to require password reset instead of existing password, which is dumb.

Suddenly started getting long (5secs +) delays on page loads. After much trial and error it turns out that the MetaMask extension was the culprit. Which is scary, since the load delay was for normal pages not related at all to crypto or the extension.

Metamask works as a crypto wallet, but I was having issues with websites loading very slow. I finally disabled ALL my addons and found that it was MetaMask that was causing the slow down. I am disabling this and only turning it on when I need it. Needs to be fixed.
