I had tried quitting and reopening Firefox a couple of times, but the issue still persisted.
Edit 1: Originally experienced on macOS Ventura 13.6, but had recently updated to macOS Sonoma 14.0 and issue still persists. Firefox version is 118.0.2 (64-bit). Macbook runs on Apple M1 chip. Tried disabling all other extensions as well, but issue still persisted.Tiririt n ineflayen

Anyway, to be precise, "color support on", "color support off". And quite importantly, a browser restart is probably needed. - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur John Duncan, fyrir 3 árum síðanThis is a helpful extension, though it produces strangely washed out colors in 4k HDR video when set to "Without Color Management" (green light in header icon) in Firefox 102.0 on an M1 Macbook Pro running macOS 12.4
Is this really what the raw video looks like with both Firefox and macOS color management disabled? The same video loaded in mpv matches the default Firefox color management (red light).

yeffeɣ-d deg fyrir 3 árum síðanThanks for your feedback. I'll be releasing a new version this week that hopefully makes things more clear.- Yettwasezmel 3 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 13378878, fyrir 3 árum síðanUI could be improved much.
Is it ON when Green and OFF when red?
So "color pass through" enabled is actually meaning the Addon is working, or does the color passed through it and it is disabled?
Icon is green but saying color management disabled. Icon is red but saying color management enabled.
Confused.Tiririt n ineflayen
yeffeɣ-d deg fyrir 3 árum síðanThanks for your feedback. I totally agree. We're changing the terminology to say "color passthrough" and we're investigating a new icon. We'd love some ideas. - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Modenium, fyrir 3 árum síðan
