i use the FB cantainer too, so i dont know if it works with or without it. but for me it works.
edit: still works, i thinkg in addition to ublock it works 100%.

I have uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, and Ghostery installed but I still see Sponsored ad on my Timeline. Adding this extension into the mix totally smoked sponsored ad on my Timeline. Rating this 5 stars.

Don't remove sponsored ads post (15/07/2019, French FireFox 68.0). Edit at 26/12/2020, 7 hours after developer response : Thank you for your response but as I'm using another addon which is working 100% for me which delete all FB ads and sponsored post, I won't change at the moment to avoid problem. But thank you for your efforts.

Version 1.6.1 doesn't work. I had to remove it and install Version 1.5.0

Recently started blocking all content on facebook home page (no posts listed). Disabled the app and facebook works fine now.

Fantastic! I use it along with AdBlockerPlus they complete each other!
