Charitab turns your new tabs into donations. Raise money for charities effortless just by adding this extension and browsing like you did before.

The extension replaces your "new tab" theme with his own. An ad is displayed and it's incomes are given to charity, the system is inspired by Lilo and Ecosia.
Charitab is designed to avoid changing your browsing habits, for example by integrating a quick launch dial which shows your most visited websites just like in the default "new tab" page.

This extension need some permissions:
* access to your cookies from the website https://charitab.org
* access to your browsing history for the most visited website quick launch bar, all this locally, none of your data is sent over the internet
* access to your search provider (Google, Yahoo, Bing, ect) for using the same search engine as the one you are using in your browser, so you do not have to change your browsing habits
* access to tabs just to have the ID of the tab (used to launch searches in Firefox API)
* the right to change the new tab page
