Excellent! I never thought to look for this, but it's something I do manually all the time! (Usually by copying then prepending a 'g' to the pasted query in the address bar.)
The perfect use case here is when you see that startpage/duckduckgo results aren't hitting the spot, triple-click the search box to highlight the query, right-click -> "Search with Google"
