GPT Local Speed Booster is an extension that helps keep very long ChatGPT conversations responsive.

When a ChatGPT chat becomes large, the page can slow down because it has to render a lot of older conversation data. This extension reduces that lag by locally trimming older visible messages before the page renders the conversation.

Recent messages stay visible, and older messages can be loaded back when needed with the “Load previous messages” button.

The extension works locally in your browser. It does not send conversation content, analytics, telemetry, identifiers, or personal data to the developer or third-party servers.
