Wished that there were more colors, red, orange, and purple, or custom ones. That and when using highlighters in dark mode that the white text could be more visible/ more contrast with the highlighters.

After I reset my firefox, all of the hightlights were deleted. I cannot get them back. I made highlights on more than 20 pages. (if someone knows how to get this add-on data back, pls tell me)
Also, always shows "There was an error loading your highlights. Please try refreshing the page" this has never worked on the pop-up interface.
Otherwise, the add-on is handy and user-friendly. If this would be fixed, this would be perfect.

Works like a charm. However, I'd like to have a keyboard shortcut that highlights the contents without activating highlighter.

Works well, does the job! I've been using it on Chrome for ages but recently switched over to a Firefox browser. Thanks for the great app! One caveat, though, that I would be really grateful if you could fix is: When using the shortcut ALT + A, after highlighting the text, the mouse cursor no longer changes to the "I-beam" (the text selection cursor) when hovering over text. Instead, it stays as the regular pointer, and I have to reload the page to fix it, which can be a bit annoying.

Works very well. Had issues with other highlighter addons but this worked great. The one downside I found is this will embed code in WSYIWIG editors that may then appear on pages to other users.

Nice extension.

This one is better than another more downloaded highlighter extension:
1. It shows indication curor when in hightlighter mode.
2. It would not mess up the page elements arrangement.

One of the best if not the best for Firefox.

Does what it promises. Eventually would be nice to get a backup / sync feature. But very solid.

It does what you want it to do; by pressing "Alt+A" (not Ctlr+A), the cursor goes into highlight mode and whatever word, passage, or sentence you select gets highlighted. I have tried so many extensions in the past and this is the one that I like the most. Simple and easy to use. Read the author's description and good luck with your essays!

1. Can I suggest for an inline swatch of colours that pop up each time we select a piece of text.

2. I see that your extension description on here (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/highlight-by-trix/) says Ctrl+A, while the actual extension button on my menu browser's extension bar says Alt+A
