It worked before. Not working anymore.

Been using it with DDG, and it's been life-changing. No more raking through SEO optimizers with useless articles that go on forever. Blocked, moved on. Now my research is free of the mental load of weeding out these websites. Recommend 11/10

The limit of blocked pages is incredibly low. I hit the limit within 2 hrs of researching.

Works great for Google. But. The docs say it'll work for other search engines, but I can't figure out how to make it happen.

Great for studying purposes to filter out less credible sources and highlight those with constantly good information.

Edit: The limit for blocked/highlighted pages is super low. Please ten-fold it.

Not available for Firefox on android.

I was wary looking through the needed permissions for this extension so an independent review of how that data is used would be welcome but it does exactly what it says on the tin. I put in fandom.com and block in the settings and it blocked all fandom.com search results from showing up in DuckDuckGo just like it says it will.

Only hide web search results. No functionality for videos/images.

As others have stated, does not work with Startpage. Not able to block out the massive Reddit, Amazon and MS links, to name a few, is quite the bummer!

It's great, except it doesn't work for the new search-engines (e.g. Brave search) that do a much better job than Google, Bing, or DuckDuckGo.

This isn't working for all supported search engines in Firefox. While it's working with DuckDuckGo, it's not with Startpage. Adding a domain to the list to be hidden does not affect the search result list. There's an old open PR and the last activity in the codebase was quite some time ago. This leads me to think the extension has been abandoned

Tried to hide pinterest... not working

Didn't hide or transparent, but did highlight the 1st one, with part of the url specified.
rule for *.com did nothing
2nd try at highlighting didn't highlight.
Am I missing something?

I moved away from "Seartch Filter" which sadly doesn't work to that. First test of "block or highlight" : I hide the domain "https://stability.ai/". I run a search to see what happens : it hid the domain, cool, but also tons of other pages such as this one: "https://www.instagram.com/stability.ai/" ... Why ??? Because... it has the words "Stability AI" in it ?

This add-on proposes to hide a DOMAIN NAME but instead it hides tons of (totally) unrelated domains.

Absolutely useless as it is.
Two stars because the different options for hidding / highlighting are definitely a great idea. Too bad it doesn't understand... what is a domain name 눈_눈

Works great. No more WikiHow garbage!

I've been using this for several years with Google Search, and it was initially very effective in blocking unwanted results. For some time now, it has failed to block "sponsored" results, which may be a drawback it can't overcome--and so I've become accustomed to ignoring the top handful. Today I discovered a new wrinkle. Sadly, some sites have evidently strong-armed Google into ignoring my wish never to be reminded of them, specifically Amazon and Goodreads, an Amazon subsidiary. This add-on has therefore become much less useful to me. I would be happy to support it financially if it were more robust.
