I think what's important is that you don't install iCloud via Microsoft Store because that means the app is installed in a different location from what the extension expects

It copies or "sync" with icloud but if you delete on firefox it will not delete on safari, (iOS), you need to also delete one by one on a mobile or using safari on a mac to remove duplicates or multiple at a time.
