ImageTools Screenshot Capture sends screenshots from your browser
directly to your ImageTools backend, where they're stored against
your account and ready for resizing, compression, annotation, and
sharing.

THREE CAPTURE MODES
• Visible area — capture exactly what's on your screen.
• Full page — scroll-capture the entire page, including content
below the fold, with HiDPI / device-emulation handled correctly.
• Selected region — drag a rectangle anywhere on the page; the
selection works cleanly even when you release the mouse off the
edge of the viewport.

INVOKE IT YOUR WAY
• Click the extension icon and pick a mode.
• Right-click on any page and use the context menu.

SECURE BY DESIGN
The extension connects to your own ImageTools backend through a
short authorization flow:
1. In the ImageTools web UI, generate a one-time registration URL.
2. Paste it into the extension once.
3. The extension exchanges it for an access token (30-day) and a
refresh token (90-day), stored locally in the browser.
4. All future uploads go straight to your backend over HTTPS.
You can revoke connected extensions at any time from the ImageTools
settings panel.

PRIVACY
The extension captures only when you explicitly invoke it. There is
no background data collection, no telemetry, and no third-party
analytics. Screenshots are sent only to the ImageTools backend you
registered the extension with — never anywhere else.

ABOUT IMAGETOOLS
ImageTools is open-source, self-hosted image-management software.
You run your own instance and own your data; this extension is the
browser companion that streams captures into it. Source code:
