Now that it has been ported I can finally use the new Firefox 57+ just as comfortable as I used Chrome before.
Big thanks to the developer! - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 13364396, 8 vite më parëOK, my approach was way to complicated, when it's indeed so easy!
I thought, giving each Firefox-profile a separate KPH-Connector key, each profile would now also only see it's own bunch of passwords in the single shared KeePass-DB… but of course, that's not how KeePass works, so following your advice all is now working as required – THANKS ANDY, GREAT WORK! - Yettwasezmel 3 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 13361955, 8 vite më parëHow should I use it with multiple profiles, that all should share the same passwords via KeePassHttp-Connector, but have otherwise different browser settings?
Each time I click on Connect, it creates a new connection-key in KeePass, for each profile – the existing connection-key from other profiles in KeePass are not recognized and giving the new key the same name as the existing one, a dialogue opens "Overwrite existing key?" with question "A shared encryption-key with the name "KeePassHttpConnection" already exists. Do you want to overwrite it?".
Doing so now deletes the previously set connection in my other profile.
What to do?Tiririt n ineflayen
yeffeɣ-d deg 8 vite më parëyou just need to create a unique connection-key name for each profile. - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur apastuszak, 8 vite më parëWorks flawlessly. Good to see Keepass support continuing in Firefox!

yeffeɣ-d deg 8 vite më parëwhen you enter a username and password and submit the form, the icon will flash red, and if you click it, it should give you an option to save the username/password to the database. - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 5923002, 8 vite më parëSimple and Solid - Flexible and Fast
- Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur wipeD, 8 vite më parëIt's a perfect port of the chromeIpass extension. Keep doing the good job, I need this on a daily basis!
- Yettwasezmel 4 ɣef 5sɣur Dabz, 8 vite më parëI love chromeIPass and this fork seems to be the closest thing to the Chrome extension, that is working with FF57 out of the box.
Missing the context menu fill options tho.Tiririt n ineflayen
yeffeɣ-d deg 8 vite më parëthe context menu should be working. could you open an issue on my github page (https://github.com/smorks/keepasshttp-connector/issues) with some examples of sites it's not working on? thanks! - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur IndioBAIANO, 8 vite më parëAlready worked well in Chrome before, and maintains utility now in FF
- Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur sw1ayfe, 8 vite më parëBeen using KeePassX for sometime then informed of fresher repo in KeePassXC only recently. Spotted the old connector and had a sad it didn't work in Firefox Quantum. But now I has a happy!
Setup was pretty simple. Database had to be unlocked for the WebExtension to find it as a source but even my uncaffeinated brain managed it. Works a treat. Would prefer it locked via my Yubikey too and with Firefox rocking through U2F implementation https://wiki.mozilla.org/Security/CryptoEngineering your extension is a cornerstone of my workflow. Nice work!!! - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Paul, 8 vite më parëEarly days, but very pleased to find it works well with Firefox 55.0.2 (64-bit) on my Ubuntu install (17.10 beta). This now means I can move across to KeepassXC instead of Keepass2 with Mono. The only issue I had was making sure that the KeepassHTTPServer was running in KeepassXC (remember to restart); without doing this you can't connect! It is also nice to be able to manually approve access to a password rather than just blindly fill (if you want to).
- Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur aurelieng, 8 vite më parëA must-have! Works perfectly with Firefox Dev Edition (based on FF57) / KeepassXC and ArchLinux.
