A few months later i came across this extension. I installed it hoping it would be something similar to FVD. Amazingly this syncs seamlessly with the FVD speed dial i still have installed on all my other browsers.It automatically gathered all the speed dials & bookmarks from FVD, brought them over & set them up in groups exactly like i have in FVD. It is working flawlessly & i am very happy to have Firefox working the way i had it with FVD.
