- Yettwasezmel 2 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 13888099, 3 dagar sidanIt's handy sometimes, but lately it's been far more annoying than helpful. It does this thing to prevent clipboard hijacking where it gives a popup whenever I copy something, and then prepends "[SUSPICIOUS CONTENT]" to the start of the clipboard, and I do a lot of copy-pasting; so the only thing hijacking my clipboard is this extension.
I removed its clipboard permission to stop this, and now once or twice a day it will hijack my browsing session (usually in the middle of watching a video) to open a new tab and ask for permission back.Tiririt n ineflayen

yeffeɣ-d deg 9 dagar sidanWe are back to regular updates, thanks for holding on with us.- Yettwasezmel 4 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 18925976, 2 månader sidanOverall, it’s good, but I’d like to see more details in the statistics—specifically, the types of malware that have been blocked, not just the numbers.
Also, the 'Access your data for all websites' option is listed as optional, but it’s necessary for the program to work. I know you’ve been pretty transparent about how the data is used, but this does raise some concerns about data security as the company isn’t open-source.Tiririt n ineflayen
yeffeɣ-d deg 9 dagar sidanThank you for the feedback, we'll take it into consideration.
With a premium subscription on Windows, you do get access to your detection history; not exactly what you asked for, but maybe you'll find it useful.
"Access your data for all websites" is indeed a required permission, and I do understand your concern. On Firefox, we don't collect any data. Full privacy policy is here: https://www.malwarebytes.com/privacy/policy-for-browser-guard.
If you are technically inclined, you can see all the requests Browser Guard makes by doing the following:
1. Navigate to about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox
2. Next to Malwarebytes Browser Guard, click "Inspect"
3. Click "Network" in the new console that opens, from there you can see all network traffic Browser Guard is making.
