sɣur Max, 7 luni în urmăI really wanted to use NoScript. I prefer single-purpose extensions that focus on doing one job well, compared to more multi-purpose extensions like uBlock Origin.
However, I ultimately couldn't stick with it because the user experience did not suit my needs.
E.g. one mobile screen presents around 12 different icons packed into the height of 3 lines of text, leaving a large portion of the screen completely empty below them.
My main frustration is that none of these icons have labels. Expecting users to learn and memorize the meaning of a dozen different unlabeled symbols creates an unnecessary barrier to entry and makes using the extension quickly and efficiently very difficult. It feels counter-intuitive to leave so much screen real estate blank when that space could be used to label each icon and explain its function.
uBlock Origin is easier to use than NoScript.

It's supposed to show you what it's blocking, but that's extremely hit-or-miss. Occasionally, there'd be something blocked where the only solution is to disable the extension. As in, right-click and disable *from Firefox itself.*

Firefox for Ubuntu snap, flatpack, or just .deb are affected. Must disable NoScript to fix it or allow everything fully for all domains on the page. I would like more domains to be added to the global trusted list though (by default) or have a popup at the top when you first visit a page.

It is blocking scripts and other add ons such as tampermonkey or violentmonkey with scripts added, but without any listing of what is being blocked. Only option is to shut it off to proceed.
Even blocking games internal scripts without any 'monkey' in use.

It can even crash the browser so severely that windows freezes irreversibly, with SEVERE data loss as a result. The crashes stopped when I deleted this extension, and re-occurred after reinstalling it. Several others have reported the same issues on user forums.

yeffeɣ-d deg 3 luni în urmăYou should not get any notification. Just a little placeholder inside the page, to be able to enable it back. And you can disable it by unchecking "NoScript Options>Appearance>Show synthetic placeholders for invisible capability probes" - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Cello, 3 luni în urmăit's 5-stars, because it's little time and effort to manage and also Edward Snowden said that noscript is the best protection in the whole internet...(after some Firefox update, noscript does seem to block internet in Firefox,,, but I'm sure there will be a workaround in the next edition ... buona vacanza)
