It seems that the current tab is not appropriate.

The real issue is that it works only occasionally on my FF 57.0 on Win 7 64-bit. Or, to be exact, it works only once and I had tried so many times, with many different URLs copied from firefox, notepad, word.Tiririt n ineflayen
yeffeɣ-d deg 7 წლის წინAs a limitation of WebExtensions, we need to inject the script into the active tab in order to manipulate clipboard.
So this extension does not work when the active tab is about: blank etc. or mozilla.org.
I think that this behavior is terrible, but it is a specification and can not be changed.
